Hoekman RVS does not want to lag behind in this and strives to optimise processes, develop employees and innovate in order to guarantee quality. Delivering quality – how do we do it?

In our efficient, specialised workshop, we have the machines, knowledge and people to produce single or assembled sheet-metal work efficiently and in a customer-oriented manner. In this workshop we build machines and equipment that meet the set specifications and requirements. Besides assembling and fitting jobs, Hoekman RVS also tests systems and modules. Under the supervision of the Quality Department, we then provide the fabrications produced with quality marks, test reports or material certificates. The Quality Department deals with the quality policy within our organisation and is responsible for the quality management system.

Standards

ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems. The ISO organisation takes care of the drafting and management of thousands of different standards. Most of these are product-oriented, but a few standards relate to generic management systems, such as ISO 9001. Hoekman RVS is certified according to the latest ISO 9001-20015 standard.

ISO 2768 Coarse – C

We produce under the standard ISO 2768 Coarse – C, which means that we carry out random quality checks. We keep test reports in which any irregularities are recorded. Are you requesting other tolerances or specifications than the standard norm? Please refer explicitly to this, so that we can look at the possibilities.

ISO 3834 for welding

ISO 9001:2015 does not contain anything about a quality assurance system for welding. Many customers refer to ISO 3834 for this purpose. NEN-EN-ISO 3834 certification is an internationally recognized quality assurance system for welding that describes all processes in the field of welded structures. We are not ISO 3834-3 certified yet, but aim to achieve this certification in the foreseeable future. Our welders are certified in accordance with ISO 6947 and ISO 9606 and we have a qualified welding coordinator in-house. We check the quality of the welding work (i.e. MIG or TIG) visually or using test equipment.

Supply of semi-finished products according to NEN-EN 1090 standard

As a supplier of semi-finished products, Hoekman RVS can comply with the NEN-EN 1090 standard. But this is only possible when the semi-finished products we produce have not undergone any welding, hot deformation, heat and/or surface treatment. You as an NEN-EN 1090 customer fit the semi-finished products yourself to the construction for which CE Marking NEN-EN 1090 is required. Because Hoekman RVS is not NEN-EN certified, we are not permitted to issue CE Marking for load-bearing structures. It is, however, possible to have the tests and quality inspections carried out by us. We will arrange this for you with the help of an external party.

Hoekman RVS is engaged in fabricating sheet-metal assemblies from A to Z. Based on your wishes and requirements, we produce sheet-metal semi-finished products and welded assemblies. If you already have a frame or construction in production with us, it is just as efficient to let us carry out the inspection and testing of the sheet metal. We're happy to take this hassle off your hands. We test constructions and welded assemblies and remedy any omissions immediately. In addition, we safeguard modified work processes in parts lists and systems, to prevent errors in repeat orders.

Shorter lead times

Through smart engineering you save on production costs, time and material. We also work with a highly automated production process, which is controlled from our ERP system. This makes the process more transparent, enabling us to manage production in a very targeted way, resulting in shorter lead times, lower costs and a high-quality end product.
